Here we all dressed in the color green. (sorry for horrible picture quality)
This was probably all of their most favorite activity of the week. I made felt board pieces for "5 Green and Speckled Frogs" and we sang the song and moved the frogs to the pool each time we reached that part in the song. They couldn't get enough of it, it seems! I bet we will be pulling out the pieces for this song alot! And they all took turns and shared wonderfully.
Then we collected green things from around the house!
Preston found something green.
Then we made edible fimgerpaint with vanilla pudding tinted with food coloring. We mixed blue and yellow to make green, along with some other colors.
It took me awhile to convince them it was okay to eat it :) Then they warmed up to the idea as you can see!
Then we strung green apple jacks onto string for fine motor skills practice.
Preston wanted the bowl close to him for a bit :)
Then Cullen wanted it on his side for a bit!
It was a beautiful day so we colored with markers in the cool shade.
I love this picture!
The next day, we tasted things that were green. (Don't worry, no double dipping).
Morgan and Nate counted the appropriate number of Teddy Grahams on the number cards. Then we got to eat them all!
We had fun making bats with our handprints. Here is Preston doing great with the glue bottle...he's a pro!
Nate concentrating hard!
On Friday, we made Banana muffins (for the letter B). These kids love to cook!
Here's Nate carefully measuring the batter.
And this little guy got to be the taste tester again, but I don't think he minds ;)
